The World of My Heart, Fully Complete

Twice this week, beautiful Facebook friends have drawn a card for me. Twice it was the World card. The readers were sure to tell me this is not a prediction. This is my life right now. And if I don’t see it, it is only that I don’t see it, not that it is not.

What a reminder to notice the wonder of life, the wholly beautiful perfection of humanness in my heart and my life. And in yours.

And with that seeing, with that gratitude, with that flow of the universe returned, the things in life that felt unmoving, suddenly begin to move.

the cards remind me
what my heart had forgotten

wholeness
happiness
breathe deep within me

the whole of us
altogether
fully complete

this is what we are made of

each heart
beats with the power of it
flowing with luminous energy
glowing with the Divine

who lights the way
even in the darkened alley of shame
even in the hooded mourning of guilt
even in the empty passages of longing

it is only with intention
attention
devotion
to this wholly beautiful flow

that the spark is awakened
strengthened
spread

from my own candle
to the thousand candles
of my soul-family

do you see the light now, my heart?

LOL – receiving the World twice in one week. A pretty solid sign to pay attention as you did. Thanks for reiterating a pretty powerful piece of wisdom in not believing what our life appears to be and to look for what our Life truly is.

    This is so beautiful, Teresa!

It captures the essence of the World card so poignantly – the potential, the opportunity, the wonder and the learning. The poem format so powerfully draws out each thought and possibility, and takes the reader on a journey of discovery.

    Lovely.
